Even his Australian counterpart Paul Marsh voiced similar opinion, that it is unfortunate for IPL authorities to rule them out.
South African Cricket Players association chief Irish termed that players are any way going to come back to them for security assessment and information, so IPL authorities decision does not make much sense. It can even grew into a much bigger problem which may even inflict the players participation, he was quoted saying.

He also said that security would come directly come into control of IPL authorities rather than being rested to hands of franchise. He believes that it can offer standard security arrangements for all teams, without any bias.
He also said that Security has been accessed from last year template, so that to identify the void to be addressed and also he was quoted saying that dates of revised schedule of IPL would be announced within few days, as they are waiting for written agreement by Police authorities about their inclination to host IPL along with elections.
