Hottest developments in IPL

IPL, the hottest cricket spectacle has entered the phase, where everything is falling, in place for the grand staging of event. We will shuttle through few hot and latest developments, revolving around IPL

Recently IPL authorities stroked an agreement, with News Media coalition, an association that represents worldwide collection of news organizations. So unlike last year, where IPL dint get global coverage, because of its dispute with news agencies, this year IPL is going to dazzle in world arena.

It is said, that IPL authorities were in serious pressure, to remove some stringent policies, which they levied on news agencies this year, as tournament is shifted to South Africa and they have obliged for the good of IPL.

For Chennai super Kings, it’s going to be a double delight this season, as Stephen Fleming is all set to don the role of both player as well as Coach. He was quoted saying, that he would take a cue from Shane Warne, who replicated it brilliantly last season and even willing to open if team requires him.

Earlier Australian International player Micheal Hussey has decided, to skip IPL at least its initial part, for preparation of Ashes series and he has decided to join the Chennai super Kings from semi – finals if a situation demands him

Mean while Punjab Kings XI team, which has already lost its intensity, in pace battery owing, to absence of Sreesanth and Jerome Taylor, is dealt with another major blow, when Brett lee along with Shaun Marsh is called back by Australian selectors, to flaunt their skills in the series against Pakistan. So they are all set, to miss the initial half of IPL owing to their national duty rather reluctantly owing to IPL , one must say.

When all the franchises are scouting, for local advantage, by going for South African players and coaches, Punjab kings XI key pace man Irfan Pathan was quoted saying; it’s not necessary for teams, to have South African players, to clinch the trophy, even though it gives one some advantage.

Mean while reigning champions Rajasthan Royals are all set, to play the IPL, without even a single Rajasthan player. Last year they had Pankaj Singh a single soul from Rajasthan contingent to represent them. This time the other Rajasthan players like Mohammad Arif and Ganjendra Singh did not make to final bus to South Africa, which is going to raise few eye brows in Rajasthan state for sure
