Who doesn’t want to fly using IPL pedestal

IPL has proved to be a golden platform for Indian domestic players to gain fame

Before last year April 2008, the names like Ravindra Jadeja, Yusuf Pathan, Amit Mishra , Prajahan Ojha were not fully known even in their own Ranjy Throphy circles, despite their consistent performance. After IPL storm, they are not just in lime light with their cash register ringing, but they have earned a place even in international cricket.

IPL has offered the perfect podium and dais for the domestic Ranji Throphy players, to show case their talents to the outside world. Remember IPL broadcast rights are even sold in areas of North America and South America.

Experts feel, that IPL is going to be only motivation and temptation for players to perform in Deodhar Throphy, which is going to commence this month. With IPL glitz and glamour looming at every one’s eyes, no doubt it will offer greatest encouragement for all players especially Manoj Tiwary, Badrinath, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Ashok Dinda, to show their form and instigate a place in hearts and minds of team management.

The other players, who are going to make their IPL debut this season like Tinu Yohanan (Bangalore Royal challengers). Iqbal Abdullah (Kolkata Knight Riders), Shoaib (Deccan chargers) will be very eager to perform and also set their fame and cash register ringing.

Domestic players now have accomplished, what it appeared the distant dreams of signing contracts of lakhs and also in touching distance of knocking the doors of International teams.

Experts feel, that IPL has did one of the pivotal radical changes to cricket of India, now no place in Indian International team is taken for granted and IPL has showcased the talent and depth which is available in India. So manta is simple ‘perform or simply perish’

Even Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff felt that IPL has made a big qualitative difference in this present Indian team, which has bolstered ability to hits sixes and fours coupled with bowling effective Yorkers and variations. They was even quoted saying, that they desperately want to play in 2nd edition of this IPL, as it can be help them to hone their skills and replicate it for their country.

Many critics feel that IPL will act as a deterrent to test cricket and also quality along with class associated with cricket will soon dwindle. But IPL has too much of sweetness to simply ignore
